Rhea Chakraborty Is Being Moved To Byculla Jail After Spending The Night In NCB Custody
After the intervention of the Narcotics Control Bureau in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, many explosive details emerged in the media, leaving everyone shocked. With days of investigation and interrogation, NCB arrested Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda and others. Later, on Tuesday, Rhea was also arrested under sections 8 (c), 20 (b), 27 (a), 28 and 29 of the NDPS Act. She was then presented in front of the magistrate court via video conferencing and reportedly, she has been granted 14-days judicial custody, after which, her lawyers applied for bail but her bail plea got rejected by the court and sent her to judicial custody until September 22. Amidst all this, according to a report in Times Now, Rhea Chakraborty will now be moved to Byculla jail today. 
 
Reportedly, she was spending the night in NCB custody. According to the same portal, the reason behind rejecting the bail was for cognizable offences. Rhea's lawyer stated that they will be approaching the sessions court for the bail. Earlier, an NCB official had revealed that they won't be seeking Rhea's remand custody as they have already obtained all the information needed from Rhea over three days of interrogation. She confessed that she was consuming drugs and was procuring drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput through her brother Showik Chakraborty. 
 
Post the arrest of Rhea, a lot of celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Hansal Mehta, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vidya Balan and others came out in support of her and started trending, "Roses are red, violets are blue, let's smash the patriarchy, me and you" on social media.
